Another fee-sharing law firm claims to be first in Scotland

Not the first fee -sharing law firm in Scotland (not even third)

Yesterday another English law firm set up shop in Scotland claiming to be the first fee-sharing law firm ever to operate north of Hadrian’s Wall.

This was first claimed, also wrongly, by one of their English competitors back in May of this year.

We have again contacted the publications where these erroneous claims have been made and they have been edited out.

Not the first

As we had to point out before, at Inksters we have been operating this model for over 8 years. We now have a network of consultants with 10 offices throughout Scotland. These extend from major cities (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness) to smaller towns (Forfar, Thurso and Wick) and island communities (Skye, Shetland and Eigg).

And we don’t claim to be the first fee-sharing law firm in Scotland. But we are today the only one operating in Scotland at scale with a geographical reach that is greater than any other and, indeed, greater than any traditional legal practice operating in Scotland.

Plug & Play Law

Inksters’ Plug & Play Law model gives you nine benefits as a self-employed consultant in a fee-sharing law firm compared to setting up on your own or with others or, indeed, being employed by or in partnership with other solicitors. You:-

  • Can just do law
  • Have complete flexibility on your own terms
  • Are rewarded for what you do via a fee-share
  • Reduce your costs
  • Get all the benefits that a larger organisation can offer
  • Become part of an award winning law firm
  • Have access to a diverse range of clients
  • Have the best technology to assist you
  • Get Brian Inkster

With 8 years of building a fee-share law firm in Scotland and 22 years in business in Scotland you might just want to consider a legal practice that is already well established in Scotland. One that understands the Scottish legal market and is not just centred in Edinburgh but will open your practice to a Scottish wide client base.
