Fee-share law firms and Scotland

First Fee-Share Law Firm in Scotland?

It was amusing to see today a newly established law firm in Scotland, spun out from an English one, claim to be “the first fee-share law firm in Scotland” as they launch with just one consultant solicitor in the country.

Ahem… Fee-share law firms are certainly not new to Scotland. Inksters have been doing just that for over 8 years and we now have a network of consultants with 10 offices throughout Scotland extending from major cities (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness) to smaller towns (Forfar, Thurso and Wick) and island communities (Skye, Shetland and Eigg).

And we don’t claim to be the first fee-share law firm in Scotland. But we are today the only fee-share law firm operating in Scotland at scale with a geographical reach that is greater than any other and, indeed, greater than any traditional law firm operating in Scotland.

Inksters’ Plug & Play Law model gives you nine benefits as a self-employed consultant compared to setting up on your own or with others or, indeed, being employed by or in partnership with other solicitors. You:-

  • Can just do law
  • Have complete flexibility on your own terms
  • Are rewarded for what you do
  • Reduce your costs
  • Get all the benefits that a larger organisation can offer
  • Become part of an award winning law firm
  • Have access to a diverse range of clients
  • Have the best technology to assist you
  • Get Brian Inkster
